Free Field

A location within a Fitted Frame, but outside of any title block, where a Metadata Item is positioned.

This type of field called 'free' because its location is not determined by a [[Data Box] within a title block.

Placement

Since we aren't using a title block as a point of reference, the position of a Free Field is done explicitly by the user. Here we specify the position of the lower left corner of the displayed Metadata Item.

Max area

The maximum rectangular dimension to be used for rendering the Metadata Item.
