Security Policy

Scope

IX-Shield is a concept-stage engineering repository. It is not an operational software product and should not be used as one.

This security guidance exists to protect the repository’s integrity, the repository owner, and reviewers who may interact with the materials.

What To Report

Please report issues such as:

  • repository tampering concerns;
  • suspicious content changes;
  • unexpected or malicious file behavior;
  • accidental inclusion of sensitive, restricted, proprietary, or non-public material;
  • licensing misuse that falsely presents the repository as open for unrestricted operational use.

What Not To Submit Publicly

Do not publicly post:

  • personal contact details;
  • private credentials;
  • restricted technical information;
  • proprietary source material;
  • anything that would create legal, export-control, privacy, or safety risk.

Reporting Method

Use the contact channel associated with the repository owner to report sensitive concerns. If a safe private channel is not available, use a minimal public issue that does not disclose the sensitive details and states only that a private repository concern needs attention.

Security Boundary

This repository does not provide:

  • operational cybersecurity tooling;
  • secure deployment instructions;
  • safety-certified implementation guidance.

Any attempt to use this repository as a real operational package is outside the supported boundary of the project.

Response Priority

Highest-priority concerns are:

  1. restricted or sensitive material exposure;
  2. malicious or misleading content modifications;
  3. false claims that the repository is validated for real-world deployment;
  4. licensing or attribution misuse.

Final Note

The strongest security posture for IX-Shield is to keep the repository:

  • bounded;
  • honest;
  • clean of sensitive material;
  • difficult to misrepresent.
