A simple MVC application where the user can input as many different Stylists as they like. The Stylist takes in a name and a service. Then for each stylist, they can add as many clients as they like. A client takes in a name and next appointment. The user can add, delete, and update clients and stylists and see a list of all clients for a specific stylist.
- Clone the repository using $git clone.
- Open the project using $code .
- Build the project using $dotnet build.
- Create a file called appsettings.json in the directory of our project's production folder, HairSalon
- Add this line of code to appsettings.json file: { "ConnectionStrings": { "DefaultConnection": "Server=localhost;Port=3306;database=hair_salon;uid=root;pwd=[YOUR-PASSWORD-HERE];" } }
- Put your password for My SQL Workbench in the section that reads [YOUR-PASWORD-HERE]
- To setup the database you open up MySQL and under 'Administration' select 'Data Import'
- Check the 'Import from self contained file' option and enter the file path of the Database within HairSalon, then start Import
- Run the program with $dotnet run.
