Note

Adds the Subscription Management dashboard doc, links it in navigation and Users page, and documents the /docs/sdk/* wildcard route behavior.

  • Docs: Dashboard
    • New page: content/docs/dashboard/subscription-management.mdx covering subscription state management, dashboard surfaces, web checkout, integrations, and SDK behavior.
    • Navigation: Added subscription-management to content/docs/dashboard/meta.json.
    • Cross-link: overview-users.mdx intro now links to Subscription Management.
  • Docs: Routing
    • Note in AGENTS.md that /docs/sdk/* wildcard renders SDK selector before redirecting to platform-specific docs.

SW-4071 [docs] subscription management page

Hey Lanre,

Thanks that helps. Can you point me at some materials showing the subscription management and its features, so I can get a better idea of your offering?

Someone I'm selling to just asked me this and I noticed we don't have anything! How quickly can we whip something up in docs/blog?

Seems like it is something we should have, especially with the webhooks + new user page

Essentially if someone doesn't use RC or Adapty, how Superwall manages subscription states, and how it can communicate with other tools using webhooks

Subscription Management Doc Plan

  • Create landing doc: add content/docs/dashboard/subscription-management.mdx outlining how Superwall manages subscriptions without RevenueCat/Adapty, including high-level workflow, dashboard touchpoints (Users page, Audience Filters), and what data surfaces there.
  • Document web checkout flows: within the new doc, summarize existing guidance from web-checkout-managing-memberships, redemption email links, manual redemption, and tie in backend management link support; keep existing detailed pages, but make this the index that links to them.
  • Highlight automation hooks: add a concise section linking to dashboard/integrations.mdx for webhook payload details and explain common downstream automation patterns (Slack, internal systems).
  • Cross-SDK references: link to SDK docs covering subscription state handling (shared/tracking-subscription-state.mdx, platform-specific purchase controller references) so sales can share a single doc that answers “how the SDK stays in sync.”
  • Navigation updates: insert the new page into content/docs/dashboard/meta.json (likely under the main Dashboard list near overview-users) and add inline “See Subscription Management” callouts in overview-users.mdx and dashboard-settings/overview-settings.mdx so readers can discover the new hub.
  • Validation: proofread for sales-friendly yet technical tone, ensure links resolve locally, and run docs linter/build check (if available) to confirm no broken navigation.
