A browser extension that generates and manages Duck.com email addresses for privacy protection.
Quackify allows you to quickly generate and copy Duck.com email addresses directly from your browser. These email addresses act as forwarding addresses that protect your privacy by removing trackers before forwarding emails to your real inbox.

- Download the extension files
- Open Firefox and navigate to
about:debugging - Click "This Firefox"
- Click "Load Temporary Add-on"
- Select the
manifest.jsonfile from the extension directory
Note: This extension has only been tested for Firefox
- Download the extension files
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in the top-right corner)
- Click "Load unpacked"
- Select the extension directory
Before using Quackify, you need to set up your Duck.com authorization token:
- Click on the extension icon in your browser toolbar
- Click the settings icon (gear) in the popup
- In the options page, enter your Duck.com authorization token
- Click "Save"
- Log in to your Duck.com account
- Open your browser's developer tools (F12)
- Go to the Network tab
- Navigate to your Duck Email Protection dashboard
- Look for requests to
quack.duckduckgo.com - Find the
Authorizationheader in the request headers - Copy the token (including "Bearer " if present)
- Click on the Quackify icon in your browser toolbar
- Click "Generate Email" to create a new Duck.com email address
- The email will be automatically copied to your clipboard
- Use this email address when signing up for services or newsletters
- All emails sent to this address will be forwarded to your real inbox after trackers are removed
- Quackify only communicates with Duck.com's official API
- Your authorization token is stored locally in your browser's storage
- No data is sent to third-party servers
If you encounter issues:
- Ensure your authorization token is correct and up-to-date
- Check that you have an active Duck.com account with Email Protection enabled
- Verify your internet connection
- Try refreshing the extension by disabling and re-enabling it
