💬 DevTinder – A Social Connection Platform

(Backend)

DevTinder is a scalable backend system for a social networking platform. It supports real-time features, user connections, authentication, dynamic feed APIs, and clean REST architecture.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/sane-aalam/devtinder.git
cd devtinder

2. Install dependencies

npm install

3. Create .env file in root

PORT=5000
MONGODB_URI=your_mongo_connection_string
JWT_SECRET=your_secret_key

4. Start the backend server

npm start
nodemon app.js
