@keithkirkwood-3di you have a few lint errors to address.

source/About-ROS.rst:20: Each sentence must start on a new line. Break between "areas of robotics." and "In logistics, it" (sentence-count)
source/About-ROS.rst:55: Each sentence must start on a new line. Break between "monitor robotic systems." and "They do not" (sentence-count)

I'd prefer we be clearer about this. MacOS has Tier 3 support, and while it is possible it isn't something I would recommend for new users.

@kscottz Just a quick question about process here, actually - would you prefer that the 3di Author resolves these comments when they've been actioned? Or is it on the original Commenter to resolve when they are happy with the update made?

Ubuntu support depends on the ROS distribution, with newer distributions usually matching the latest Ubuntu LTS (long-term support) releases.

Again I would appreciate things being clearer and more comprehensive here. ROS / Ubuntu mismatch is by far one of the biggest problems for new users.

We've changed the wording here to be clearer in the latest commit, see what you think?

This is generally acceptable but I would like to clear up some of the language around operating systems.

While ROS can run on a variety of operating systems it doesn't mean that we recommend those operating systems for new users. MacOS is particularly a problem right now because, as a Tier3 operating system, there are two or three competing approaches for installation that have been built by the community.
