A microcontroller-based mock elevator system built with ATmega328P (Arduino Uno) and ATmega2560 (Arduino Mega). This project simulates an elevator systems functionality using states that are displayed using an LCD and taking user input using a keypad, showcasing embedded systems design and multi-board communication using SPI. It implements the followiong states: idle, movement between floors (also indicated by LED), opening and closing doors (also indicated by LED), emergency (additionally plays a ringtone until acknowledged by user), and a fault state.
