For the course Advanced Visual Datanalysis(TNM098), we worked on a 2022 VAST challenge about daily routines in a fictional city.
The challenge is described:
The 2022 VAST challenge is a about a fictitious city called ”Engage- ment”. The city is conducting a participatory urban planning exercise with approximately 1000 representative residents using an app that tracks their visits, >spending, and purchases. This data will assist in community revitalization efforts and the allocation of a large city renewal grant. To aid the city a visual analytics expert must make sense of all the data provided by the >participants.
The project was carried out using python with jupyter notebook along with a selection of libraries to aid data handling. Below are some results:
