I've worked on all kinds of projects, but mostly consider myself a researcher | problem solver who uses technology and data to explore technology's impact on society and how new tools can be used to better society.
Nowadays, I focus on AI. Specifically, I'm intersted in AI syscophancy, activation steering, and uncertainty in reasoning.
Previously I worked at USAID as a Senior Data & Analytics Advisor focusing on global food security and the Feed the Future initiative. Prior to that, I was at the Fire Department in New York City (FDNY) as the Director of Operations Research.
Find me on the internet:

- Google Scholar
- Personal Website (honestly, this is a bit out-of-date)
- Stony Brook University Libraries: Advancing Trustworthy and Human-Centered AI
- From Thought to Answer

- Prompt Fragility in TruthfulQA
I'm using different AI tools to learn about specific NLP and AI concepts. One might argue this is a really bad idea, but I do like saying "hmm... I dont understand this..now build me some python code so I can learn by doing..."
