Hi,
For a project of mine I needed this package to be compatible with a more recent version of PHP and other dependencies, so I've used Rector (and my brain too) to make the necessary changes.
If you're interested in maintaining this package, here's a PR with all the changes. I've left the configuration used for Rector in case it could be used again.
Thanks for your fork, it's a pity the original package has been removed.
