…3/STREAM into add-development-and-versions
|
Hmm. I initially created this to mirror John's official repo since there was a week where the UVA website was down, and my GitHub mirror helped some people. It has since become more popular than I expected or intended. @jdmccalpin and I have briefly discussed creating a proper GitHub org+repo for STREAM but haven't done anything about it yet. That might be a better place to apply this change. I am really only interested in the latest version, and not in historical versions going back to 1996, which predates my ability to use computers for things other than video games 😆 Please leave this PR open but I won't decide on what to do with it until I talk to John. |

Okay! I understand this might not fit with your goals. I honestly only use the newest version as well, but I'm an archivist at heart and I like to preserve history :) I'll leave the request open, let me know if there's anything I can change |

I know it's been almost a year so I wanted to add that I have not forgotten about this, but we still haven't decided what to do, for lack of trying. I'm sorry about this. |
Changes:

Versionsdirectory contains a few useful variants, including code for MPI and posix memalign.Versions/old,Versions/Experimental, andDevelopmentaren't directly useful, I feel they should be included for completeness and archival purposesLet me know if this pull request fits the goals of this repository :) I'm also happy to change anything you'd like
