You should add everything you auxliaryurl to to AUX_FILES in the Makefile, or they won't appear in the archive and hence be missing from the published directory.

And I'm a bit curious whether everything works with aux files in subdirectories. If ivoatex does something wonky with that, don't hesitate to complain.

just mentioning the openapi subdir in AUX_FILES worked as intended; the subdir and files are included in the package and become accessible from the expected docrepo URL.

Still to be determined (in the RFC and discussion at the interop): these will end up with a versioned URL in the documents themselves and I'm not sure if/how we want to version such openapi components.... so that bit is TBD. Until we decide on that, no changes in ivoatex are needed yet.
