The security analysis identified three main vulnerabilities:

  • Stored XSS (CRITICAL): User-controlled blog post content is rendered with the |safe filter and without proper sanitization.
  • Missing CSRF Protection (MEDIUM): State-changing routes like /create_post and /upload lack CSRF tokens.
  • IP Spoofing (LOW): The application blindly trusts the CF-Real-IP header.
