npm install
npm run devOpen the app, enter your Home Assistant URL and long-lived access token. The app will auto-discover the Melitta machine from HA entities.
npm run buildThe dist/ folder can be served as a static site or installed as a PWA.
The app is automatically deployed to GitHub Pages on every push to main. It's also available as a PWA you can install on any device.
The hosted version at https://dzerik.github.io/melitta-barista-app/ is a static SPA -- all communication happens directly between the user's browser and their own Home Assistant instance via WebSocket. No data passes through any third-party server.
npm run build
# serve the dist/ folder with any static file server (nginx, caddy, etc.)Set VITE_BASE to your desired base path during build:
VITE_BASE=/my-path/ npm run buildThe app stores the HA URL and long-lived access token only in the browser's localStorage. No credentials are sent to any external server -- the WebSocket connection goes directly from the browser to your Home Assistant instance. The deployed static files contain no secrets.
