Kew-tip is a theme creator for the kew music player.
Kew-tip runs entirely online on github.
Click text to apply a colour to it. When finished click generate, then download the file, (or copy paste) from the bottom of the page and save to:
Linux: ~/.config/kew/themes
macOS: ~/Library/Preferences/kew/themes
The name for the theme is defined in the themes file as:
name=kew-tip-<timestamp>
This name and the author can be set to whatever you want.
The theme can be set in the kewrc file:
Linux: ~/.config/kew/kewrc
macOS: ~/Library/Preferences/kew/kewrc
with the theme option:
theme=kew-tip-<timestamp>
Themes can also be set in kew itself. t cycles through themes F6 shows the help page and the current theme. This selection is then stored in ~/.local/state/kewstaterc.
Kew-tip has been tested against version 3.7 of kew, and its possible that it behaves slightly differently and generates different options to those available on different versions.
