Focus was fixed after closing clients but when ever switched the tags i would have lost the focus this code sets the focus of the last client of each tag, after changing the tag |

perhaps try this first:
tag.connect_signal("property::selected", backham)
--|ensure there is always a selected client during tag
--|switching or logins
