Getting Started

Welcome to PotatoEssentials! This guide will walk you through the initial setup of the plugin suite.

Requirements

• Java 21 or higher
• Paper (or Paper-based forks like Purpur) version 1.21.1+
• Vault (Optional, but recommended for prefixes/suffixes)

Installation

1. Download: Download the latest versions of PotatoEssentials.jar and PotatoDiscordLink.jar.
2. Upload: Place the JAR files into your server's plugins folder.
3. Start Server: Start your server to generate the default configuration files.
4. Configure: Edit the config.yml in both folders. See the Configuration page for details.

First Commands

Once the plugin is installed, you can use /potatoessentials info to verify the version and /potatoessentials reload to apply configuration changes.
