InterLink: Let's Connect the World's Blockchains

Making blockchains play nice together. No middleman, just math.

Hey there! Welcome to the InterLink repository. We're building the connective tissue for the decentralized web. If you've ever tried moving assets between different blockchains, you know it can be a headache, slow, risky, and expensive. We're here to fix that.

What is InterLink?

Think of blockchains like separate islands. Right now, to go from "Ethereum Island" to "Solana Island," you have to board a ferry owned by a small group of people you have to trust. If they lose their keys or decide to take your money, you're stuck.

InterLink is the first trustless bridge that doesn't ask for your permission or your trust. Instead of a "ferry" owned by people, we've built a "teleporter" powered by math, specifically, Zero-Knowledge Proofs (zk-SNARKs).

With InterLink, you can move value and data across different chains instantly and securely. No multisigs, no "optimistic" 7-day waits. Just pure protocol-level magic.

Why are we doing this?

The blockchain world is fragmented. There are dozens of great networks like Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, and Cosmos, but they don't talk to each other very well. This leads to:

  • Trapped Money: Your assets are stuck in silos.
  • Security Hacks: Traditional "bridges" have been hacked for billions of dollars because they rely on human committees.
  • A Painful Experience: Managing five different wallets and three different gas tokens just to swap a coin is exhausting for everyone.

We're building a Unified Liquidity Layer. One place where everything connects, so you don't even have to know which chain you're on.

The Cool Stuff Inside

  • zk-SNARK Magic: We use the same high-end cryptography that powers privacy coins to prove that a transaction happened on another chain.
  • High-Speed Solana Hub: We use Solana as our main coordination center because it's fast enough to handle the world's cross-chain traffic.
  • Fair & Decentralized Relayers: Anyone can help run the network by proving transactions, and they get rewarded for it.
  • Anti-Inflationary: Every time you use InterLink, a tiny bit of the $ILINK supply is burned. The more people use it, the scarcer the token becomes.

How it Works (The Simple Version)

  1. You send a message or deposit money on one chain (like Ethereum).
  2. Our Relayers see this and create a "mathematical proof" that your deposit is real.
  3. The Solana Hub checks the math instantly. If it adds up, the Hub approves the transaction.
  4. You get your funds on the destination chain. Done.
