Fixes DOCS-13481

Adds GCP support documentation to the Cloudcraft in Datadog pages, and updates screenshots and videos across the section.

Content changes:

  • _index.md: Adds a GCP tab to the Prerequisites section with steps to enable resource collection via the Google Cloud integration tile. Updates the Getting started tip to note that the Project dropdown lists GCP project IDs. Updates the Group by tags note to include GCP labels (for example, Project). Updates the overview video to show the GCP tab.
  • overlays/infrastructure.md: Adds a provider comparison table for resource grouping hierarchy (Account/Subscription/Project, Region, VPC). Adds a note on GCP-specific additional grouping options (Firewall, Service, Subnet, Tags). Adds a GCP section to the excluded components list.
    • overlays/security.md: Adds a note that sensitive data is available for AWS accounts only.
    • overlays/observability.md: Adds a note that the Observability overlay is not available for GCP accounts.
    • overlays/ccm.md: Adds a note that the Cost view is not available for GCP accounts, but the Recommendations view is supported.

Screenshot and video updates:

  • Replaces screenshots and videos across the section with updated versions. Several existing screenshots have been cropped to remove the provider and overlay selector headers. This reduces overhead when replacing screenshots in the future, since those UI elements are likely to change as new providers and overlays are added.

Merge instructions

Merge readiness:

  • Ready for merge

For Datadog employees:

Your branch name MUST follow the <name>/<description> convention and include the forward slash (/). Without this format, your pull request will not pass CI, the GitLab pipeline will not run, and you won't get a branch preview. Getting a branch preview makes it easier for us to check any issues with your PR, such as broken links.

If your branch doesn't follow this format, rename it or create a new branch and PR.

[6/5/2025] Merge queue has been disabled on the documentation repo. If you have write access to the repo, the PR has been reviewed by a Documentation team member, and all of the required checks have passed, you can use the Squash and Merge button to merge the PR. If you don't have write access, or you need help, reach out in the #documentation channel in Slack.

Additional notes

TODO before merging:
- Verify exact GCP resource collection UI steps (modeled after Azure flow)
- Confirm GCP network-level grouping label in infrastructure overlay (using VPC — verify)
- Confirm Security overlay sensitive data support for GCP
- Update all screenshots/videos throughout to reflect new AWS/Azure/GCP provider toggle
- Add GCP-specific screenshots where needed (infrastructure overlay, getting started)
