📖 My Story: From a Small Shop to Robotics Competitions

Hello! I'm a 16-year-old (almost 17) passionate systems and robotics developer.

My software journey started at age 10, while my peers were playing outside. During the pandemic, I had to work with my dad in our family's gift shop. After school, my time was spent dealing with customers and shop chores. Even though this confinement overwhelmed me at first, it triggered my desire to explore the world behind the computer screen.

  • Self-Taught: Without any paid courses, I learned to code entirely on my own by reading forums and documentation.
  • Early Start: I've been building and uploading my projects to GitHub since I was 12.
  • Robotics Passion: Once the shop closed and I finally got my time back, I immediately joined my new school's R&D club. I made my first physical presentation at the TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair, and since then, I've been winning awards in international robotics competitions.

My Dream: To take my skills to the international stage, meet new people abroad, and make a difference in systems engineering and robotics.

🚀 Featured Projects & Research

  • 🏎️ Autonomous Vehicle (18th Int. MEB Robot Competition)

    • Currently my main focus. Building a high-performance autonomous system using a Raspberry Pi 5 and Hailo-8 AI Accelerator. Implementing PID control in Rust for safety-critical tasks while offloading YOLOv8 inference to Hailo via a Python/PyO3 bridge.
  • 🏥 MEDA (Medical Exercise Digital Interface)

    • A hybrid system digitizing exercise tracking between doctors and patients. The doctor's interface is built with Python. For the patient's side, I used Rust (Backend/Frontend) and Python (AI). I established a seamless FFI (Foreign Function Interface) for secure and fast communication between the two languages.
  • 🦀 ORYXIS (Pure Rust Orchestrator)

    • A modular, "JARVIS"-like orchestrator written in pure Rust. An experimental project focused on memory efficiency that evolves by being given new abilities and taught new tasks.
  • 🌐 MRCS (Multiple Remote Control System)

    • A low-level systems programming project designed to manage, monitor, and control a large number of connected clients from a single host machine.

🏆 Honors & Awards

  • 🥈 2nd Place - 17th International MEB Robot Competition (Mini-Sumo Category)
  • 🥉 3rd Place - DIY Workshop Kütahya Robotics Competition (Mini-Sumo Category)
  • 🥉 3rd Place - DIY Workshop Kütahya Robotics Competition (Maze Solver Category)
  • 🎤 Presenter - TÜBİTAK 4006 Science Fair (Multiple Robotics Projects)
