Mounted Combat not working as intended

When having the feat 'Mounted Combat' there is no save each turn to save the mount from damage. I don't know if the save is not happening or just not showing in the combat log.
Disabling this mod brings the save back.

Hi, apologies to bother, but has any progress been made on this issue? Being able to mount immediately in fights that start in a cutscene is useful, but not being able to actually utilize the Mounted Combat feat is a rather harsh tradeoff, to the point where I have been turning off the mod.
