Question about voxel spacing

Hi! Thanks so much for creating and releasing MedSegBench!

I had a quick question about the preprocessing. In the paper, you mention resizing the 3D volumes to fixed sizes (128 / 256 / 512). How was voxel spacing handled in this step?

Hi,

Thank you for your question. In our setup, we treat the data slice-wise as 2D samples, so we do not explicitly account for 3D voxel spacing during preprocessing. The resizing to fixed sizes (128 / 256 / 512) is performed in-plane on each 2D slice (i.e., in pixel space), using standard 2D interpolation, and we do not perform any spacing-based resampling to a common physical (mm) resolution.
