Description
Scope
The yLocker's product is a core Yearn's product that is built around curve style AMM pools and veToken dynamics. It consists of Liquid Lockers and vaults that benefit from the rewards earned from the underlying tokens in the Lockers. It is built mostly on the v2 version of yearn's vault infrastructure.
yLockers Manages Yearn's CRV reserves and its yCRV product and optimizes votes and "bribes" for Curve, Aerodrome, Velodrome, etc. They also manage Factory Vaults, which are vaults that can be permissionlessly deployment for AMM pools. yLockers is expanding their liquid locker options with a new liquid locker around Yield Basis' token called yYB.

Funding Request Breakdown
The yLockers team manages all code, interfaces, and infrastucture for the yLockers products. The following sections describe the required funding needed for the various parts of maintaining these product over the specified period.
Smart Contract Code and Product Development
Funding Request: $135,000
Funding is to continue work on yLockers products, including, but not limited to:
- yLocker products (yCRV) including YBS and auto-compounders
- yTreasury veToken positions and veBOOST
- yLocker data tools (crv.lol, ybs.wavey.info, rsup.lol, auctionscan.info)
- yFactory (Curve, Velodrome, Aerodrome, and Balancer vaults/factories)
- veFarming strategies
- veAERO, veVELO and veRAM positions
- Yearn's involvement with Resupply (and Yearn's 10% allocation of permastaked RSUP)
- Yield Basis products and strategies (NEW)
Security and Monitoring
Funding Request: $19,800
This funding request is for the following work:
- Internal Reviews of yLockers products, including strategies and other related infrastucture
- Bug Bounty management.
Business Development
Funding Request: $40,000
This funding request is for the following work:
- Engage with ecosystems interested in bringing yLocker Products to their users.
- Form and execute TVL incentive programs.
- Educate projects and partners about value add of yLockers Products.
- Represent Yearn in spaces, podcasts, and events.
WebOps
Funding Request: $90,000
This funding request is for the following work:
- Upgrade of main Yearn.fi website (to be delivered at end of budget period).
- Continued maintenance of existing yLockers focused Yearn websites, including:
- ycrv.yearn.fi
- yyb.yearn.fi
- factory.yearn.fi
- Internal sites
- Improvement and maintanence of Backend services including:
- Indexing and data services Kong and yDaemon
- MetaData, token logo, and risk CMS
- Documentation of yLockers products including the new yYB liquid locker.
- Product management and strategy for yLockers Products as they interface and interact with web services.
Web2 Hosting and DNS management
Funding Request: $2,750
This funding request is for the following work:
- Maintanence and Hosting of Yearn domains and web2 Services related to yLockers products, including:
- Vercel
- Plausible
- Cloudflare
- Security Monitoring of domains related to yLockers products
ySupport
Funding Request: $9,150
This funding request is to contine managing the Yearn Discord Server and Public telegram channels as they relates to the yLockers products, including:
- User Assistance
- Scam Prevention
- ySupport Bot Operation and Refinement

Marketing
Funding Request: $6,000
This funding request is for the following work:
- Create and manage X/Twitter content for yLockers products using the official Yearn X account.
- Deep dives into yLockers products and services to promote yLockers products.
- Brand strategy and explorations for yLockers Products
- Coordinate the creation of videos with outside vendors
