Description
Specialty plots like the special plots in pgstar would be useful additions. A few key examples:
Profiles
- T-Rho profile with all the bells and whistles
- Abundance profiles with customizable abscissa and isotopes
- Energy generation
- Mixing
- Propagation diagram
History
- HR diagram
- with lines of constant radius
- option for log g instead of L
- option for color-magnitude diagram
- Kippenhahn Diagram
GYRE
- Echelle diagram
Perhaps this could be accomplished with a tabbed interface. The default tab ("Custom Plot") would give the current view, and then an additional tab (maybe "Bespoke Plot" or "Special Plot"?) would expose a dropdown to select from potential plots, each of which would trigger a different control panel.
Each plot would be a lot of work, but they could be added one at a time once the main tabbed interface and dropdown is set up.
