In FF 25 when I use the selectbox the items become with "..."

In IE9 the same happens, but when I mouse over the items in selectbox it open wide:

I think the correct behavior should be:

• extend the combo options to the width of the selectbox itself. In bootstrap we can set the width size by using col-md-x, for example.
