CodeLLDB Installation Fails with “unable to get issuer certificate” on macOS

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.109.2
• OS Version: macOS Darwin arm64 25.2.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Update VS Code to the latest version.

2. Launch VS Code.

3. VS Code attempts to install platform package:

   Installing platform package from https://github.com/vadimcn/codelldb/releases/download/v1.12.1/codelldb-darwin-arm64.vsix
   

4. Installation fails with:

   Error: unable to get issuer certificate
   

Expected Behavior

The platform package should download and install successfully.

Actual Behavior

Installation fails with SSL error:

Error: unable to get issuer certificate

Following the provided installation instructions does not resolve the issue.

Additional Context

• Occurs immediately when launching VS Code after update.
• Appears to be related to SSL certificate validation.
• macOS ARM64 environment.
