email field is case sentitive

Either for login in or asking for a password reset, the email field is field sensitive.

We have had cases were the user registered with a capital letter at the beginning of their mail address (for example Email@example.com).

These people would then be unable to login if they typed their email address in all lower case (email@example.com). They would get confused and then try to reset their password and find themselves unable to for the very same reason.

As per the email RFC, this is technically correct as the user part of an email is defined as case sensitive... In any sane usecase, however, this is obviously a bad thing.
