The organisation behind LanguageTool does not provide Docker images itself, but relies on the community to provide them. They are linked in the offical repository and acknowledge in an issure: languagetool-org/languagetool#704 (comment)
I hope this endorsement qualifies enough to be considered as a TrueNAS app.

Recently, it was announced that the browser extension can only be used with a premium subscription: https://languagetool.org/webextension/premium-announcement
This makes self-hosting it more valuable, even if syncing the personal dictionary is not supported that way.
