Last activities dropped_at time updates

Hi,
When getting sync/last_activities, is it intended that the shows.dropped_at time updates whenever you add an episode to your history, even if the episode is from a show that isn't dropped?

I tested when adding an episode to history using sync/history and just pressing the add to history button on the Trakt website, and both resulted in shows.dropped_at and episodes.watched_at being the same time, even if the show wasn't dropped/there aren't any shows dropped.
