no winding sound in v 1.0 ?

Just downloaded he beta 4 for version 1.0
and i notice the winding sound is gone. Didn't any mention for in after searching so i wonder if this is intentional or I'm just not hearing it.  Maybe add it as option?

The ting sound is audible and much better... =]
