a block radius of 0 or -1 would disable the aura for that particular mob type. having slime be so common greatly eases progression for the other mods i have installed, which skews the balancing a little much, though i do like that i can actually organically find slimes in the world without having to tediously build farms for them.
kiting 80 rather quick slimes because it's too tedious to actually bother with killing them is lame and their numeracy actively devalues their loot - further removing incentive to kill them. also their inescapably huge poison clouds kill my clueless wolf pets and they're annoying to escape if you don't have modded weapons with higher attack ranges.
anyways, maybe slimes could be given a situational high jump or something? that might give them a niche as something that can close the distance on a player in a high spot that a spider can't climb to (platforms suspended over air and such). just a thought
