My name is Erik, and I am a long time user of HomeAssistant.
Before I discovered Home Assistant I used to have a server running in my basement with different services I needed.
It was, for example, a mailserver with spam filtering and IMAP mailboxes, a MYSQL server and some other utilities I needed.
After learning that Home Assistant could host apps, I decided to try to make the stuff I needed to run inside my Home Assistant host. No more big servers in the basement!

I am currently providing a few apps for Home Assistant, with the latest one beeing the InluxDB3 add-on.
