Support Sphinx >8

I really like what this extension provides, but without active maintenance and support for the latest versions of Sphinx, it's difficult to bring into our project.

Sphinx is at 8.2.3 currently.

I've now tried it out with python 3.12.8 on windows with Sphinx 8.2.3, and it runs successfully and the defaults appear.

I haven't tested default_values prior to this, so this is most likely not a problem related to this update, but multi-line list elements in docstrings work poorly when default_values is enabled.

An example:

def demonstration(default: str = "I'm a string!") -> str:
    """A demonstration function.

    Args:
        default (str, optional): I'm a long docstring that must break across several lines.
            I'm breaking before this line.
    """
    return default

A warning is issued, .demonstration:5: WARNING: Definition list ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent. [docutils]

And the result is not satisfactory.

When default_values is not enabled, the documentation appears correctly and no warning is issued.
