Recently stopped working

Recently the addon ceased to work and doesn't open the Steam client when clicking the button, it just flashes and does nothing.

operating system (also distribution if on linux)
browser , its version & how it was installed (eg. flathub/snap on linux)

Sure.

OS is Pop OS 22.04 LTS
Linux Kernel: 6.6.6-76060606

Browser is Firefox 121.0.1 Deb version (installed from Repos)

Steam is version 1705108172 stable (Also Deb version from Repo)

is your firefox installation a snap installation?
since pop os is ubuntu based and on ubuntu even firefox installed over apt is a snap package by default

on my end it works on windows and linux (arch with regular firefox & steam)

Doesn't seem like it, my distro doesn't even have snap installed. Firefox is installed and upgraded from the repos via apt.

ok ill spin up a vm with pop os and look into it further

I found that this extension and another don't seem to work for me either.
I'm also on Linux (Endeavor which is Arch-based)
with a regular non-snap Firefox.

@JThundley i couldnt reproduce any problems on a fresh install of endeavor galileo neo
firefox was default install, steam was install with yay (multilib/steam)
i had to select steam native in firefox to handle steam:// links

@DraconicNEO im sorry but i cant get steam to run on pop os in vm at all and dont have a spare compute lying around to test
