Problem with settings cells via Hobbywing ESC forward programming

When I set the number of cells (12S) for my Hobbywing ESC via forward programming, it will reset this setting to auto on the next load. Is this normal or a bug?

Today I received a programming box from Hobbywing. Setting the number of cells via pre-programming definitely did not work. The box showed "auto". After setting it to 12s via the box, the lua script shows 6s.
Also setting the BEC voltage via forward programming does not work correctly. I set it to 12V via forward programming and the box showed 11.4V. After setting it to 12V now, the lua script shows 12.6V.
Something is not working correctly.

Which model ESC are you using? And which version of the Lua scripts?

This issue is very indicitave of the lua not using the lookup tables.

HW has many defined client side tables for setting values. you essentially have to identify the esc - then adjust the tables to suite the model.

sorry, i missed that. I use the released version 2.2.1. Because I could not change to 12V for the BEC I exchanged only the file from this commit: 10c6c56
