Name localization or internationalization

May I ask your thoughts on localization?
For example, jp “National Foundation Day” is written in Japanese as “Kenkoku Kinen no Hi” (建国記念の日).
It would be good to have the notation in Japanese local language as data.

Basically I have been leaving it up to contributors. Many other countries have the holiday names in the local language only. If you would like to convert the names in jp to Japanese, that would be fine with me.
