Very slow loading and error message

The past few months I've noticed the site being very slow loading data and generating an error trying to load data it was capable of loading previously. Is this something that can easily be fixed, or is this associated with a third party?

It's associated with a third party. I'm relying on the public "Overpass API" database on https://overpass-api.de/. I don't want to host my own server for my hobby project, because this would be very costly.

I will try to improve the error message, so that it states where the problem comes from.
