Is DozerDB still active?

The project looks very useful, and I may even be able to use an old version, but I'm a little hesitant to start using it if it's no longer active. The GitHub seems fairly dormant.

The project is active and we have some major updates to release this summer.

A lot of the development is done in private repo and synced - that's going to change this year as more people start to volunteer.

We have over 100k downloads so far and growing.

Also note - unlike ONgDB, which I co-founded, the dozer DB approach is that of a plugin - so if you didn't want to use it, you simply remove it as a plug-in and you can continue to use neo4jJ community, albeit without the enterprise features DozerDB adds in.

I dont mean to be annoying, but im curious what the state of the next release is? Is there an expected due date yet? Could you tell us which features will be included? You also mentioned that the development would be more open in the future?

Yes, the project is still active. We’ve been testing the current work internally under real production loads. We believe Neo4j Community Edition 5.26.19 is in a good, stable place, and that will be the next supported release this month.

As adoption grows, we agree we need to be clearer about release planning and more open about ongoing development.

We’re also putting some basic governance in place around the project, which should help with that going forward.
