Idea: Google IO 2015 Extended Event

Google's IO events are aways packed with good stuff for web developers. Just an idea - might be interesting/fun to organise an IO Extended Event. It's actually perfect timing because IO is on 28th-29th, so the streams will be available to view for us then. Google's Polymer Project looks very interesting (had a play around with it and it's an exciting new way of building websites/apps) and I think they'll announce a new Material Design CSS library which should be cool

If we get this organised we can notify Google and they might be able to send us over some goodies for it (Android jellybeans and t-shirts, stickers etc).

interesting! Keep me posted - the more I think about the idea the more I like it. I'd be very happy to get more involved with helping set it up etc. And I need to get the site up ASAP and add a Google banner to it if this event gets the go-ahead.

Ah no problem. I realised afterwards that our 2 hour meet up time wasn't really suitable for a proper IO Extended event. I think all the other extended events were a lot longer - still should be interesting /fun this evening.
