Send mail by distribution list

Hello,

I'm the owner of my mail and a member of DL, and owner a DL

daniel@mydomain.com
Member DL: security@company.com.br
Owner DL: gdo@company.com.br

I would like to know it is possible with API to send a mail-in name of DL and not in my name.

I know with outlook is possible.
