Serial Number Prefixes and Power Ocean Models

Hi !
So I am trying to create a list of different Power Ocean Model and theirs Serial Number Prefixes (4 first numbers which determine model of device). I will list everything I have at the moment (I have just Standard models ATM) and if you have something else please reply and I will try to update the list on this first message...

• HJ31 - PowerOcean
• HJ31ZD - PowerOcean 10kW (new)
• HJ35 - PowerOcean 6kW
• HJ36 - PowerOcean 8kW
• HJ37 - PowerOcean 12kW
• J321 - PowerOcean Single Phase
• J32A - PowerOcean Single Phase 3kW
• J32B - PowerOcean Single Phase 3.68kW
• J32C - PowerOcean Single Phase 4.6kW
• J32D - PowerOcean Single Phase 5kW
• J32E - PowerOcean Single Phase 6kW
• HC31 - PowerOcean DC Fit

I am missing various Plus and Pro models

Hi! I have a 3-Phase PowerOcean 10kW Inverter, and the serial number starts with HJ31 as well.

You all have so powerful solar inverters. Here in Ireland you can have max 5 kW (as household). You can get 6 kW, but only if you pay extra 1500 EUR to government...

I got the 10kW inverter more for the backup feature than for my array, only have 7,2kWp on the roof in an east-west config, so my maximum power only ever goes up to 6kW in high summer.

Isn't that because most houses in Ireland only have one phase?

yeah that might be it... most of houses would have just 1 phase. When I was buying solar I just wanted to go with highest I could get (6 kW), but I couldn't. I mean I have just 12 (475W) panels and since my house is end-of-terrace, there is not much "sensible" space for expansion, this might be ok... All of those are on south side of house, I could maybe put few more on north, but north side doesn't have that much space anyways and its not exposes enough to give any gain....
