As the title suggests, it would be really great to be able to download a repo (from any Git forge, like Github, Gitlab, Codeberg, Radicle, Tangle, etc) and be able to "Patchy" the local source code to your liking without needing to make all of your changes public in Github's Graph of 'forked' repos..
Sometimes, it's just easier to work locally - especially if you run your own, local git server in your homelab like I do ..
And I know I'm not the only developer in the world who has a git server in his homelab.. Patchy would be a fantastic tool for this type of use case..
If only Patchy would add support for local or arbitrary git repos or paths ...
