🔥 Feature Request: Custom Blocklist URL Support — This Would Make NextDNS Unbeatable

Hello NextDNS Team,

I am a long-time NextDNS user from Azerbaijan, and I absolutely love your service. Your infrastructure is outstanding — I get an average ping of just 86ms, which is 3x better than your competitors (AdGuard DNS averages 243ms from my location).

However, there is one critical feature that is holding many users back from fully committing to NextDNS:

⚠️ FEATURE REQUEST: Custom Blocklist URL Support

Currently, NextDNS does not allow users to add custom blocklists via URL. This is a significant limitation because many powerful blocklists are not available in NextDNS’s built-in library, such as:

• BlocklistProject
• Shadow’s Blocklist
• And many other community-maintained lists

Because of this missing feature, I was forced to switch to AdGuard DNS — despite its much higher latency — just to access these blocklists. I have also seen many users on GitHub and community forums express the same frustration.

I strongly believe that adding custom blocklist URL support would:
✅ Retain existing power users
✅ Attract new users from competing DNS services
✅ Make NextDNS the undisputed #1 private DNS resolver

I have been a loyal NextDNS user for over 2 years. I truly believe in your product and want to see it grow. Please consider this feature — it would make a huge difference for the community.
