PR description template with AI coding assistance disclosure ?

We currently do not have a pull request template, which leads to inconsistent descriptions. It also makes PRs less useful as a way to document the history of changes to the code base, to understand later on why we made a decision.

Introducing a template would help standardizing a bit how changes are explained (motivation, changes introduced, examples) ?

It could also provides a way to increase transparency around AI-assisted contributions, while encouraging contributors to be accountable for the submitted code ?

Excellent idea! Added a small sentence for clarity, but I fully approve the idea and the proposed template.
