💡 Proposal: Enhancing ImagePlugin Configuration with Margin, Padding, and More

We’re exploring ways to make @m2d/image more flexible and user-friendly for handling SVGs and other images in DOCX exports.

✅ Proposed new options for the ImagePluginOptions configuration:

• cropMargin → extra padding used when cropping SVG tightly, before rasterization. Prevents content from being clipped accidentally. (default: 4)
• background: string — fill color for rasterized images (default: "transparent")
• minScale: number — lower bound on scaling large SVGs to prevent them from shrinking too much (default: 0.5)

Why these matter:

• Improves control over diagram spacing in DOCX documents
• Supports consistent styling for charts, diagrams, and illustrations
• Makes it easier to handle high-DPI or large SVGs without quality loss
