error on installing

Hello

I'm trying to install K as local user, but I got this error:

fausap@fausap-Latitude-E5470:~/k$ npm i @kparc/k
npm ERR! code ENOSELF
npm ERR! Refusing to install package with name "@kparc/k" under a package
npm ERR! also called "@kparc/k". Did you name your project the same
npm ERR! as the dependency you're installing?

Am I missing something?

Hello As the error suggests, your’re trying to install the package into itself. Navigating out of ~/k should do the trick. k.
