MCView Crashes upon starting

I've just updated MCView to version 3.1.0 and now I get the this error message mcview quit unexpectedly. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple. (as also seen in the attached screen shot.)

I just got the program and I'm having the same issue.
