Support in BigSur, Monterey or Ventura?

I have been searching for this file for a while, but I thought I would only find the old 32bit version and to my surprise I have found this port/recompilation for Catalina. I am no programmer, so I don't know the implications of just compiling it in another version of the operating system.

I am running Ventura right now and it has new support for driving wheels, gamepads and the like. I just plugged in my old trusty Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB and it was recognized instantly. It appears in System Settings under the Game Controllers category (that appears the first time you connect a game controller).

Apple just talks about the G29 and G920 racing wheels in its documentation, but I hope that the G27 and G25 can be recognized also… thus my interest in finding FreeTheWheel for a modern system.

If any of the maintainers here can say if it is just a matter of compiling it under Ventura and its corresponding Xcode version and using it I would much appreciate it. I have the old G25 racing wheel in a far away beach house, but I would make the trip to get it if there is the possibility to try a modern version of FreeTheWheel under Ventura with its new revamped support for gaming controllers.

For Sonoma, this fork has worked for me with Logitech G923 + pedals and a Driving Force shifter.

I had a trouble with making the wheel controls working in ETS2/ATS. The script by jackhumbert runs and shows "Done" but doesn't actually do anything in Sonoma.

The one by WATERMELOUN3 doesn't stop itself properly and for some reason hides the mouse cursor while it's on, but it does work if you launch the game while it's running.

To make it work I launch the script in terminal, then start the game through keyboard navigation or a terminal command like open steam://run/270880, then as soon as the menu screen loads switch back to terminal and stop the script.

The game then sees all the axis and controls of the wheel until exit. After quitting it you need to repeat the steps above again.

can the 2019 macbook air (sonoma) run the logitech G27?
