Regression in 13.1.2

Since version 13.1.2, mandatory fields with multiple checkboxes are no longer correctly recognised as having been filled.
When submitting the form, a message always appears stating that the first checkbox must be selected.
The form will only submit if the first checkbox is selected.

This can be reproduced in ddev https://powermailcond-v13.ddev.site/powermail/powermail-cond/show-checkboxes if the mandatory option is enabled for the checkbox field.

We are encountering a similar issue in version 11.2.8: whenever there is a mandatory field with multiple checkboxes, the first one must be selected; otherwise, the form cannot be submitted.
Is there an approximate timeline for when this issue will be addressed?

This should be corrected in the multi select checkbox template, maybe none of the inputs should get a required attribute otherwise you'd need JavaScript to handle it.
